User licenses explained

What is a User License?

A user license on Brosix gives one person access to your private messaging platform.

Think of it like a seat at a table — each person who needs to use Brosix must have their own seat, or license.

Key things to know:

  • Each user account requires one license.
If you have 5 user accounts, you need 5 licenses.

  • You can create user accounts up to the number of licenses you have.
For example, if you have 100 licenses, you can create up to 100 user accounts.

  • Each user account can be used on multiple devices simultaneously, like a desktop, laptop, or phone.

  • You can change the number of licenses at any time from your Web Control Panel.
You can add more licenses when you grow, or reduce them if you need fewer users.

  • Licenses are flexible.
If you delete a user account, you can create a new one in its place — the license will be reused.

A note on terms

Some services use the word “seat” instead of “license”. At Brosix, we use the term “user license”, but it means the same thing: a spot for one user on your team.
