The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new regulation in EU law aimed at unifying data regulations within the EU. The main aspects of the regulations aim to create greater transparency in how businesses use personal information, and grant individuals greater control over their personal information. GDPR applies to any business operating within the EU or serving any customers located in the EU, such as Brosix.
With the launch of the new regulations many companies have been working to make adjustments and become compliant by the deadline of May 25th, 2018. Here at Brosix, however, we have made customers’ security and privacy a priority from the beginning of our company, and have been GDPR compliant for many years. Since our founding we have taken significant steps to protect customers’ data and ensure that they are aware of how and to what purpose we use their personal information.
